"Coast Guard Auxiliary". The Purpose of the Auxiliary is outlined
in Title 14 of the United States Code 822. The mission of the Auxiliary is to
effect rescues on and over the high seas and on navigable waters; To promote
efficiency in the operation of motorboats and yachts; To foster a wider
knowledge of, and better compliance with, the laws, rules, and regulations
governing the operation of motorboats and yachts. To facilitate other
operations of the Coast Guard.
We are always looking for new members.
Our membership is made up of people whom are interested in boating and any
water-based activities. We also have pilots in our membership. Help do your
part to make boating safe. Train to teach boating safety classes, travel the
waters of Central Texas
Lakes and Gulf
of Mexico for safety patrols, or give vessel safety checks at
marinas. If you and or a friend maybe interested please contact our Flotilla
